Our Recruitment Process

Once you’ve submitted your application and CV via our online portal, our recruitment team will consider the skills and experience you possess in relation to the role you’ve applied for. We’ll keep you up to date on your application and aim to come back to you within 10 working days.

If successful, you’ll be asked to either attend a face to face or telephone interview with the Hiring Manager. You’ll be asked questions relating to your work experience, along with competency/behavioural questions to provide you the opportunity to tell us about previous work based scenarios and how you handled these. Some roles require either technical or verbal/numerical testing as well as personality style questionnaires or presentations and you’ll be given advance notice if we need you to complete these for us.  Unfortunately, we are unable to reimburse you for any travel related costs to attend an interview.

Depending on the role you’ve applied for, we may ask you to return for a second stage interview. This will give us a further opportunity to find out about you as well as ensure that you are the right fit for the role and MDS. Remember, an interview is a two way process so this is your chance to ask questions about the role, the Company and your new working environment or team.

If you have a disability, learning difficulty or medical condition which you believe may affect your performance during our recruitment process, we are happy to make reasonable adjustments to our process to help you perform at your best. Please email us at once you have your interview arranged and we will be happy to assist you.

It’s our legal obligation to ensure that anyone we are looking to employ is legally entitled to work in the UK (Warrington based roles) or Ireland (Limerick based roles), so we will ask you to provide evidence of this when you attend your interview.

Our Recruitment Process

"Having worked with MDS for a while now, what shines through is how they value their employees. This reaches out to not only their current employees, but to prospective candidates throughout the interview process. In a market where feedback for candidates can be sparse, MDS understands the value of giving detailed feedback and areas for improvement to help them on their journey.
What they really understand as a company, is that it’s not just about remuneration which makes people happy, it’s the work life balance. With flexible working hours, free parking, discounted gym memberships, social events, and even little things like fresh fruit delivery- they really cover all bases! And if there is something you feel they are missing, they welcome suggestions to constantly improve.
If you are looking for a company which values your commitment, enables you to grow, and gives you the tools to do so - you are definitely in the right place!"
